Caramelized Chestnuts
1 pound cooked fresh or frozen chestnuts, shelled, peeled and chopped 6 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Use a large saut� pan to melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the chestnuts and cook for about five minutes. Once browned, add the sugar and toss. Allow to caramelize for about another five minutes.
