Green Tomato Jelly Categories: Vegetables, Jams Yield: 5 pints
4 c to 5 c Tomatoes, green -minced 2 c to 4 c Sugar 1 lemon, optional or 2 c diced apples 6 oz Box raspberry jello *
* Use strawberry or blackberry jello if you prefer.
Slice lemon thinly if using. Let tomatoes drain a few minutes. Place in medium size saucepan; let simmer for 15 minutes. Add sugar; cook 5 more minutes. Add 1 box Jell-O and cook 3 more minutes. Pour in hot clean jars and seal.
