PICHER Two tribes help tornado victims Two tribes based in Ottawa County have donated money for relief efforts after a deadly tornado hit Picher.
The Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma donated $25,000, and the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe donated $10,000 toward relief efforts for the victims of the May 10 tornadoes in Picher and Seneca, Mo.
The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe donated $5,000 to the Picher victims and $5,000 to the victims in Seneca, Mo.
The Quapaw Casino in Miami is providing $20,000 in a direct relief effort.
The tribe's business committee gave $5,000 more to the Red Cross, the tribe said
