new Native American cookbook series

I wanted to let you know that in 2008 the first of a series of an estimated 18 cookbooks on Native American foods that I am writing will be available in bookstores and from the University of Nebraska Press. Each book includes recipes and the culture surrounding foods. The first book to be available will be on the Iroquois. The second one, on the Cherokees, was mailed out today for reviews. I will let the list know when they are available.
I would also like to thank both Nagi and Nephi for reviewing the first book and for encouraging me to continue working on this project until I found a publisher who was not only excited about publishing the series, but was agreeable to my insisting that the final wording and content must be approved by tribal members to insure accuracy and that nothing sacred is included.
