ABENAKI WILD NUT SOUP WITH SCALLOPS
One pound of hazelnuts, chopped One pound of scallop, whole Six shallots, with tops One small bunch parsley, chopped One lemon, sliced Two cans of chicken stock One teaspoon of sea salt One quarter teaspoon of course black pepper
Place all ingredients in a large soup pot & simer slowly over a medium heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
