CHEESE AND PEPPER SOUP (Navajo) Serves four
Quarter stick butter One sliced onion One chopped clove of garlic +Saute until the onions are soft
+Add to onions and simmer for 10 minutes One can of roasted green chili peppers Two diced ripe tomatoes
+Add and simmer for 15 minutes Two cubed potatoes Four cups of water
+Mix in and simmer over VERY low heat for 30 minutes Half a pound of shredded cheddar cheese
+Salt to taste
