In the interest of helping the Elders and others on the Rosebud
Reservation,
would you kindly pass around the following announcement?
With Respect,
Nim
==================
Greetings,
I am writing to you about a small local non-profit charitable
organization
based in Sterling, Ks., that has been in business since October of
2001. We
provide clothing, household goods and other needs to those living in
poverty
conditions in the central states. We make regular trips to the Rosebud
Indian Reservation in South Central South Dakota, providing services
to the
Native Americans residing in sub-poverty conditions.
Hello, my name is Ms. J. Porter Selman, Founder and CEO of Web of Life
Enterprises, Inc.
Our organization is supported solely by the donations of concerned
citizens.
During this time of social and economic upheaval in our country,
donations
have dropped extremely low, making it difficult to help others.
Web of Life Enterprises strives to relieve the hardships that some
people
have faced, especially the children, and I am calling on you for help
and
assistance in furthering our goals. Money, goods and services are are
all
required to bring change, to providing better housing, decent food,
warm
clothing and blankets, and snow boots and coats for children and
Elders.
In an effort to raise monies for the Elders Winter Heating Fund on
Rosebud
Reservation we are pleased to offer 4 t-shirt designs for your wearing
pleasure. Monies from all sales will go this fund.
All shirts are of the best quality, screen printed, and will last many
years. Say it with a shirt!!
