DOROTHY WHITEHAWK CLOUGH GAITHER
Dorothy Whitehawk Clough Gaither, 57, Ottawa, died Tuesday, Nov. 28., 2006, at her home.
She was born Oct. 4, 1949, at Seneca to Jack Ferguson and Beatrice Mae (Womack) Clough.
She worked as an activist.
She married Jim Gaither May 9, 2004, at Emporia. He survives.
Survivors also include sons, Jeff Brown, Carbondale; Craig Ralston Jr., Columbus, Mo.; and Anthony Ralston, Emporia; daughters Julie Wymer, Duncan, Okla.; Jackie Edwards, Becky Hodge and Kaitlin Burnett, all of Emporia; sisters, Betty Hughs, Osage City; and Erin Dent, Alamogordo, N.M.; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Mack Brown; and brother, Robert LeRoy Clough.
Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery, Melvern Lake.
Friends may pay their respects from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund will be designated later in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, 605 State St., Emporia KS 66801.
