Anasazi Beans
1 bottle of beer
1 Large Onion
Ham Hock
2 Cups Dry Beans And Water For Cooking
garlic (I use the minced kind and put in about 2 tbs)
carrot slices (like the addition of color)
fresh basil and fresh thyme and a touch of oregano (all fresh herbs)
1 small can of green chopped chili
pepper
do not add salt let the people that you serve it too add their own
saute onion in 1 tbs of olive oil - place all ingredients in crock pot -
fill crock pot with the beer and water - set on high and cook all day...you can
even cook it for two days if you want...
