BATTER-FRIED GREEN SQUASH
2 teaspoons water 1 egg 4 tablespoons oil � cup cornmeal 1 cup cut up green squash
Beat the egg and water together. Heat the oil in a skillet until it sizzles. Dip each squash piece into oil, then roll in the cornmeal. Fry until golden. Drain on a paper towel before serving.
