Another Idaho School Receives Million-Dollar Gift To Help Indians May 6, 2006
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Two eastern Idaho philanthropists and longtime education supporters chipped in one (M) million dollars to Idaho State University in Pocatello to create the school's first endowed professorship.
It's in the Native American Business Administration program.
Anne Voilleque and Louise Nelson say they donated the money out of concern that members of Idaho's five tribes often struggle in the college environment.
Pocatello is near the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
