Casting Call
RAPID CITY, S.D. - Triple Martini Productions is searching for talented
South Dakota American Indians for leading and supporting roles in the
upcoming film "The Stone Child." All submissions need to be received by
June 16 for a possible role.
"The Stone Child" will begin shooting in early July in South Dakota and
New York and requires roles that include:
· A leading boy who is Lakota Sioux and Caucasian between 10-13 years
old with dark hair, dark eyes and light skin.
· A leading Lakota Sioux man between the ages of 40-55.
· A supporting male role for a Lakota man between the ages of 40-55.
· A supporting female role for a Lakota woman with long hair and
glasses between the ages of 40-55.
"The Stone Child" tells the story of an 11-year old boy struggling for
identity as he is torn between the two worlds of his Mormon mother and
American Indian father. Positive reviews have been given to the script
by both the Sundance and Slamdance film festivals.
