Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. Ushers In New Enterprise
Albuquerque, NM – The Four Winds Travel Center has been added to the
landscape of one of Albuquerque's oldest neighborhoods: Indian
School Rd. and 12th Street Northwest. The public launch will occur
on April 1, 2006.
Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. (IPMI) – the sister corporation to
the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center will hold an official ribbon
cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on March 31, and will include both
Pueblo and state dignitaries.
The 5,000 sq. ft. travel center includes a convenience store,
expanded smoke shop, an Arby's restaurant, a full gourmet espresso
bar and gasoline and diesel fuel sold under the Fina label. Fina
fuels will be distributed by Kewa Gas Ltd., a tribal entity owned
and operated by the Santo Domingo Pueblo.
The project was developed and managed by Development Services Group,
and building design was completed by Rick Bennett Architects, Inc.,
both of Albuquerque, NM.
Financing for this project was through Bank of America and
construction completed by Albuquerque based Star Construction
Company.
The grand opening celebration on April 1 will feature live radio
remotes with KKSS (97.3 FM) and KIOT ( (102.5 FM), face painting
for the kids, music, great prizes and free samples of Arby's famous
sandwiches.
Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. is owned by the 19 Pueblos of New
Mexico. Its mission is to generate revenue to contribute to the
long and short term sustainability of both the Indian Pueblo
Cultural Center, Inc. (IPCC) and Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc.
(IPMI).
