WHO: The nation’s top 40 high school baseball prospects
WHAT: The All-American Baseball Game presented by PlayStation®
features the nation’s premier MLB and college prospects,
including top MLB draftees, competing in a nationally televised game on
Fox Sports Net. Modeled after the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the
All-American Baseball Game will showcase high school baseball’s
top players in a classic East vs. West match-up. Many of the 40
All-Americans are expected to be drafted in the first three rounds of
the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft.
The All-American Baseball Game has included the following first round
picks:
Lastings Milledge drafted by the New York Mets
John Danks drafted by the Texas Rangers
Eric Duncan drafted by the New York Yankees
Chris Lubanski drafted by the Kansas City Royals
Craig Whitaker drafted by the San Francisco Giants
Adam Jones drafted by the Seattle Mariners
Blake DeWitt drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers
Jason Place drafted by the Boston Red Sox
Kyler Burke drafted by the San Diego Padres
