Honoring our Veterans: First Nations style Dear Friends: Please take a look at what a great job Canada has done for their First Nation Veterans. Just click the "Profiles" and then a photo, the individual's story comes up. (Just like our Congressional Medal of Honor does for the "Citations") It would be great if we could emulate this great web site to honor our Latino and Latina veteran with their photos and stories. You have entered a place of honor and remembrance. This website is dedicated to all those First Nation Soldiers who have been witness to many battles fought for our freedom. The First Nation Veterans here in Saskatchewan have fought not only overseas but here at home as well. The fight for recognition of equality in terms of benefits and land policy is a struggle that still exists today. It is hoped that you will find the treasure of story and remembrance that you are seeking.
